Too much bad to say. Too many bad memories both here & Taylorville in general. Lets just say if you get a wittle couchy they can put a Band-Aid on it. On the other hand if you have a broken leg, copd exasperation, or a stroke, dont go here. This place is a quick fix & a patch up. If its life threating dont go here EVER. Go to Springfield memorial or saint Jones for those real problems. Oh & btw out the door in thirty minutes is on average 2 hours. I have been there with my mom & had to wait upwards of four hours & there were only to other rooms taken. Obviously not thirty minutes.
I had outpatient surgery Friday, all of the medical staff was very helpful. Dr. Sinha is great, Bryan (nurse anesthetist ) was fantastic. Very long time that I have had an IV that was as painless as I did Friday. Thank you Bryan.
I came in to the ER with a severe wound on my right forearm. I was informed that they were unable to treat me because they did not have anyone qualified. They sent me to a hospital in Springfield were they performed the surgery. Taylorville Memorial charged me as much as the the hospital in Springfield for doing nothing. I would recommend going to a different hospital before visiting Taylorville and avoid excessive fraudulent charges.
